Creative Team

The core contributors bringing the investigation, folklore, linework, color, and continuity together.

Shawn McBee

Co-Writer/Co-Creator

Shawn McBee

Shawn has worked in the film industry for over 10 years, working on roughly 50 productions in that time. Serving as the official "Keeper of Lore" for DC's Stargirl offered him the opportunity to work directly under comics legends James Robinson and Geoff Johns, an experience that served as a masterclass in storytelling. This supplemented Shawn's previous experience writing and critiquing screenplays (the podcast Table Reads) and self-publishing the 24-Hour comic book Tom Donovan, Robot P.I. (2005). He also served as story consultant on Trae Romano's TV Series Franco, Your Favorite Italian (in development) and as story editor on the comic series The Tales of Sir Chance by David Anderson (also in development).

Maciej Jankowski

Co-Writer/Co-Creator

Maciej Jankowski

MJ was raised in Poland, growing up on the oral traditions of the Slavs; fanciful myths full of horror which have shaped his love for the genre. Honing his craft with student projects such as short films and comic books, as well as conducting interviews with several notable comic writers, Maciej conceived of Westron as a way to reinterpret the Slavic legends he learned as a child and explore how they might intersect with the modern world and the people who inhabit it.

David Anderson

Story Editor

David Anderson

Though a newcomer to the medium of comics, David has been interested in writing since childhood. Articles he's written on pop culture topics have been viewed millions of times leading to him working professionally as a wiki representative and supporting hundreds of wiki communities to varying degrees. He provided direct support for wikis among the largest in the world, including Terraria, Transformers, Fables, Life is Strange, Dexter, and the official John Wicki. He's currently developing an all-ages, steampunk, limited comic series called The Tales of Sir Chance.
